Every year, these magnificent creatures embark on a long journey from icy Antarctica to the warmer breeding grounds off the Queensland coast.
On their way north, they choose to swim close to the Central Coast avoiding the great East Australian Current. This eases their efforts and allows us the perfect opportunity to witness their playful nature off the Bouddi National Park Peninsula.
Tabasco offers a large premium viewing platform, fully functioning galley, 2 bathrooms, a spacious saloon, and 2 expert crew members to ensure safe navigation and superb service.
With the season starting in early June, now is the best time to inquire.
Private Charters or Ticketed Tours
We offer either private charters or ticketed tours for whale watching. With limited space on board, contact us now to decide which experience is best for you.
Private charters allow a wealth of options to choose from that customise your day. Whether it be additional stops, catering, or alternative pickup locations, a private whale watching charter covers it all.
Ticketed tours are a cost effective way to go whale watching with Sail Central Coast. Pick up is from Hardy’s Bay Jetty, Killcare on select days.

Whale watching on Tabasco ensures comfort and safety. Our viewing platform allows guests to be in the open air amongst the whales, while having the option to be indoors in our saloon as well. Tabasco’s dual hull design increases stability on open water and adds ample spaciousness for guests.
With ample seating, two heads (bathrooms), galley, fridges, and storage areas, Tabasco offers a premium whale watching experience.

Tabasco is able to take 10 guests per charter/tour and departs from Hardy’s Bay Jetty, Killcare.
